SHORT BIOs
We play a mix of folk, bluegrass, classic country, and a little bit of wildfire Wyoming-style western music. Our trio offers tight harmony and sophisticated instrumentation featuring Sage on the mandolin, Tessa on clawhammer banjo, and Morgan on the upright bass.
The Prairie Wildfire trio originates from a small prairie town at the base of the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. They specialize in a mix of folk, bluegrass, classic country, and a little bit of wildfire Wyoming-style western music. The band is made up of Morgan Blaney on upright bass, Sage Palser on mandolin, and Tessa Taylor on clawhammer banjo. All three members take turns singing lead, and their songs will take you back to a simpler time.
Prairie Wildfire is a trio that will take you back in time with its interesting mix of folk, bluegrass, classic country, and a little bit of wildfire Wyoming-style western music. Tessa Taylor's gritty voice is filled with energy and emotion and the classic traditions of old-time and cowboy music. Morgan Blaney offers a crystal clear tone that blends influences from country, bluegrass, and jazz. Sage Palser belts out rich ballads and classic country sounds -- and a yodel or two. The band alternates lead singers and rips through melodies, rhythms, and breaks with practiced ease, producing a sound that is unique yet reminiscent of better times...
and better tunes.
