Alone and hollow, she looks --

Empty eyes staring back at me

The hurt spills out of her...

I think that woman might be me

How can You love me?

when they say I'm so unworthy?

How can You love me?

when I can't love myself?

You say You love me just as I am...

Do You really know me?

Have You really seen me?

Can I really believe?

I read You have called me by name

I read You take away my shame

You say I'm no longer to blame

I am worthy by YOUR Holy Name!

No!...

... I'm still unworthy

But Your love, somehow, is unchanging

And that's what makes Your grace so amazing

Somehow You accept even me!

I come to You as myself, lying flat on my face as I am

Broken before You, wide open

Maybe it shouldn't be, but Your love still covers my sins

-- You heal the bleeding within

It really can't be...

but I'm starting to see

just how You see me

and who You intended me to be!

No!...

... I'm still unworthy

But Your love, somehow, is unchanging

And that's what makes Your grace so amazing

Somehow You accept even me!
